The raw material Polyethylene (PE) is the row fuel (naphtha) got from a first crude oil refining.
After the splitting of this intermediate a nontoxic gaseous compound of carbon and hydrogen is generated : ETHYLENE.
So the organic matrix of Polyethylene is based on carbon and hydrogen, in the shape of high molecular Alkans.
On the waste dumps PE has a neutral conduct against groundwater.
The foils are physiologically unobjectionable.
PE is owing to the group of thermoplastics and fully recyclable, so it can be reused at 100% .
PE burns with a dropping light flame and goes on to burn also if the blaze is taken away. It burns completely, without residua and with no toxic emissions. Therefore PE is generally a welcome energy dispenser for combustors.
